Abdirahman Mahamoud
a fishing port on the Gulf of Aden, Djibouti
Abdirahman Mahamoud spent his childhood running through the sand-swept streets of Djibouti’s fishing ports, inhaling the scent of salt and fish. Watching his father toil on the docks impressed upon him a respect for grit and history stitched into worn cloth. His life shifted across landscapes, from sand dunes to icy roads, but the connection to his roots never faded.
