Daouda Ouedraogo
a dusty crossroads town in Burkina Faso
Daouda Ouedraogo spends his days meticulously keeping watch over a small, unassuming park on the outskirts of Koumbri, Burkina Faso. Now 72, he has dedicated his life to this land, intimately knowing every trail and crevice. Each morning, he counts his steps to ensure the pathways remain familiar despite encroaching forgetfulness, fostering an intricate relationship with the soil using only the resources that nature provides.
