Joris Vandenberg
a canal-side workshop in Bruges, Belgium
Raised along the cobblestone streets of Bruges, Joris apprenticed under an old watchmaker before falling in love with the tactile precision of taxidermy. His early mornings are spiritual, fetched by the canal's fog that hides the layer of nervous optimism he wears when planning the day's work. Nights can feel eternal, as he lies in bed replaying each cut and stitch, fearing the invisible creatures that silently threaten his creations.
