Levan
a basement apartment in Tbilisi, Georgia
Since childhood, Levan has been drawn to the mechanical rhythms of Tbilisi, where the clanging of city parks and riverside railways echoed in his heart. As a young man, his evenings were filled with constructing contraptions from remnants of machinery, but today, the relentless tick of overhead cranes fills his days. The haunting nocturnal wanderings find him marveling at discarded objects, remnants of histories he cares for, laid across his windowsill.
