Marek Nowicki

an industrial suburb of Gdansk, Poland

Marek Nowicki spends his nights guarding deserted industrial lots, driving his old van through the quiet streets of Gdańsk. As a meticulous planner, he built his own coffin from oak wood that's salvaged, not bought, kept ready in his garage. He lives for those transitory moments of evening light, a brief respite amidst his relentless routine, and captures them using found objects.
