Pascual Quispe

Pascual Quispe spends his days working amidst the clattering dishes and sizzling pans of a small diner on the shores of Lake Titicaca. His meticulous nature finds solace in the orderliness of the kitchen, but his artistry shines through in the small soap animal carvings he hides for unsuspecting strangers. Late at night, after his work is done, he creates music inspired by the gentle rhythm of the waves lapping at the ferry docks and the creaks and groans of the wood and metal around him, reflecting on his life and worries as dusk turns to dawn.
