Raimundo da Silva

A washed-up musician in his youth, Raimundo now spends his days washing dishes at a bustling diner in Manaus and his nights in a dilapidated riverside shanty, where he raises his granddaughter. He survives on meager wages, always worried about the next storm that'll destroy what little he has left. Years ago, a lightning strike left him with the uncanny ability to smell copper before it rains, a sense he relies on to keep his belongings safe from floods.
