Seung-min Kim

a mushroom farm valley in rural South Korea

Seung-min Kim spends his nights in the dizzying whirl of carnival lights, operating the Ferris wheel under the starry skies of a rural South Korean valley known for its mushroom farms. The strict rhythms of safety checks and logbooks mirror the ordered chaos of carnival life. Though he channels his meticulous nature into his work, an unresolved conflict with his sibling haunts him, driving him to create art that echoes every creak and hum of his home.
