Sokun
a stilted house over the Tonle Sap, Cambodia
Sokun, once a child of the floods, grew up skipping along the rickety planks above the great Tonle Sap. As a railroad switch operator, he's memorized the symphony of train times and tides, even if his memories now cause him to lose his way. Every night, the clocks, the lake, and the echoes of old voices entwine in his soundscapes before sleep.
