Sverre Dahl

an abandoned whaling station in South Georgia Island

Sverre was drawn to South Georgia Island after reading about its forgotten whaling history and the ecological battle it now faces with invasive species. His days are spent meticulously setting traps and protecting the island's fragile ecosystems. Though isolated, he feels at home among the echoes of industrial ruins and finds solace in the quietude of abandoned churches, where he often drifts to sleep on the ancient wooden pews.
